Yea, the parade in the city is fun. If you’re coming from Long Island or Jersey, or you’re an NYU freshman. I’m looking to party locally, get a little crazy, and do and see things I’ve never done before. In Bushwick, you don’t have to pay much money to do any of those things.
You want to get drunk for hardly anything and be surrounded by the weirdest bunch of freaks and goblins the city has to offer. Come to Bushwick, my friends. 3rd Ward is having a conglomeration of bands, theater and weirdos begining at the Brooklyn Brewery, then Furniture Factory, the Knit Factory, Omega Plastics, and the streets. For 12 hours, beginning at 7 p.m., this party should be cracking, and it’s likely that you will find me, dressed as a lion, somewhere in the back, drinking Absinthe and smoking Camel Blues.
It’s $15 before 9:45 and $25 after.
Here’s your local weather report: It’s supposed to be sunny during the day with a high of 56, and a low of 46, my favorite kind of New York light jacket weather.
Here’s the link: http://www.withinthelandofash.com/, which doesn’t really say too much in comparison with the facebook page. Alas, that shows how powerful facebook has become .
