Today is the day, my single friends. There is no better day to be single than Valentine’s Day. You can feed off of everyone else’s desperation and misery, and hopefully get laid. Here are a couple of awesome events that will surely have tons of attractive singles as well as Daniel Adler and Co.

MTA Missed Connections Party: Even if you don’t have a missed connection you hope to see, chances are everyone here will be willing to connect. Music, booze, art, the MTA: what else do you need?

Pine Box Rock Shop: The ol’ neighborhood watering hole is doing it right. Who is Cupid? My buddy Giovanni Serrano is going to be diaper-and-wings-clad and mediating between all you lovebirds out there, helping to swap phone numbers and the like. And if it’s getting late, and you can’t wake up alone again, try my new favorite line: “Wanna make out and snuggle?” It’s innocent, and leaves the floor open for possibilities.
